The Paradigm Pitching Program

Paradigm: (def): example serving as a model

The Paradigm Pitcher is a model of the 9 key positions the best pitchers in the world achieve during their pitching delivery. It is used in this program as a model to reference and teach essentials of efficient pitching mechanics. This program shares the knowledge I have gained of proper pitching mechanics throughout my career, and provides corresponding drills to facilitate and expedite your improvement as a pitcher. The program is meant to be used as self-diagnosed private pitching lessons in which the pitcher compares his mechanics with those of the Paradigm Pitcher, finds areas of difference, and then performs corresponding drills from the following categories: Movement Patterns, Explosive Movements, Large Med Ball Throws, Small Med Ball Throws, Baseball Throwing Drills and Mobility Exercises. Evaluating and re-evaluating one’s mechanics and performing these drills, combined with a solid weight training program, is a continuous process to achieve desired improvement throughout a pitching career.
